What We Do

SketchDwell takes your project vision and puts it down on paper so that you can:

  • Submit drawings to a contractor for pricing
  • Obtain a construction permit
  • Fine tune your project’s design
  • Upload a floor plan to your existing online real estate or vacation rental listing

How We Do It

Step 1: Initial project scope discussion (share the dream with us!)

To get started we need a little information from you. This is our chance to get to know one another and understand the nature of the project.

The more information provided upfront, the more accurate the SketchDwell floor plan will be.

Step 2: Site visit to document existing conditions, if applicable

We may need to schedule a site visit for project. This will allow us to take measurements, look around and get familiar with the surrondings.

Step 3: Provide service estimate

We will provide you with an estimated cost and timing for your project based on the first two steps. You will have a good understanding of the projects scope and costs at this point.

Step 4: Preliminary drawings (are we on the same page?)

Now we are getting somewhere! We will review the preliminary drawings with you and other stakeholders to make sure we have captured all the details. We will take this feedback and start on the next step.

Step 5: Tighten up the details

Based on the feedback provided in Step 4, we will prepare the finalized drawings.

Step 6: Completed conceptual drawings

Ta-da! A beautifully drawn design plan ready for your submission and use. We provide the finished product in the form of an image optimized for your needs. Congrats!! Our job here is done.

Please Note: these are not stamped construction documents.
